This art work’s topic is peace. When I was thinking about this topic, a variety of things came to mind: the peace dove, the flags, the famous buildings of different countries, the peace sign, and people from all over the world. Therefore, what I did on the artwork is I combined all the ideas and things that came to mind and put them all together in the piece. The idea I have of this artwork is that people from different countries were trying to fly to this place where it is a place of peace. I drew flags all around the world on the building to show that different countries should combine and communicate together to make peace and the world a better place. I also added the peace sign and different famous and representive buildings like the Statue of liberty, the Eiffel tower, the great wall, and more. I also added some rainbow elements (the rainbow in the back and the rainbow ribbons hanging on the peace dose to show the brightness of peace and also that not just peace is about different countries and skin colors, LGBTQ+(rainbow is a represent of it) should be accepted for people’s peace because in the society now there are still countless people in this group that should be accepted and look up to the peace of this world because they did nothing wrong. I also added the peace dose trying to hang the peace sign onto the “peace building.” The people flying to this world of brightness and peace are very eager, excited and everyone on the peace dose was showing the pose of the peace sign with their hands. People down on the ground are looking up at them ad waiting eagerly for their turn to fly to this world full of peace.
